Self-taught and highly motivated, Natalie combines talent, 30 years of experience, and professionalism, to exceed the expectation of the private and corporate patron. Living in New Zealand, she has exhibited her work both in New Zealand and in England, with portraits now held in private collections worldwide.

To reach the New Zealand public, Natalie regularly showcases her portraiture at appropriate venues on request. Rural born in 1952, and passionate about painting since a child, her portraiture especially, has evolved into an exquisite achievement, and she is renowned for the empowering images that she creates for her patrons.

Natalie is fascinated by the unique persona of each client, and this shows in her portraits. These portraits range from a simple, but exquisitely detailed 'sepia' portrait, to an evocation of the client's life experience with the use of background symbolism as the setting for the character study. A client may commission a life study to be painted at a designated location while Natalie is on tour in NZ in her mobile studio.

Although working from her mobile studio on tour, Natalie also has her beach 'studio in paradise' at Urquharts Bay, Whangarei Heads, New Zealand, to which she occasionally returns. She still balances her portrait schedule with studies of the dynamic coastal landscape and of Nature's magic moments, especially involving animals and people. Water surfaces, with their light-reflective qualities are a particular fascination, linked mystically to the reflective qualities of the human face.

Recently, Natalie has explored other ways of representing portraits, landscapes and dreamscapes.
